The centre is managed by representatives from three institutes: Plant Research International of Wageningen UR in the Netherlands, the Kunming Institute of Zoology, CAS, and the College of Horticulture and Forestry of Huazhong Agricultural University in Wuhan. Dr Maarten Jongsma of PRI is acting as its managing director.
